Brem Scott Academy provides tutoring that engages, empowers and excels learners. Strong reading skills are the foundation of a child’s academic success and lifelong learning. Our mission is to provide personalized reading support, enrichment, and guided practice to help elementary-aged students develop confidence and a love of reading. With teaching experience in public, international, and independent schools our strategies are rooted in current research around how language and literacy are acquired. Danna Scott Founder & Reading Tutor

Our mission is to inspire and empower every student to unlock their fullest potential and achieve lasting academic success. With over 17 years of hands-on experience in diverse educational settings—from U.S. public schools to international and private institutions—we understand the unique needs of each learner. By using proven, research-backed strategies, we guide students in making meaningful progress in reading, writing, spelling, and language acquisition. Our passion is to help every child not only succeed academically but also build the confidence they need to thrive in and out of the classroom.

"With a passion for nurturing young minds, Courtney is a dual-certified educator in both Elementary Education and Special Education. Courtney brings over 5 years of experience in fostering academic growth, building confidence and supporting students with diverse learning needs. Through a tailored approach to instruction, Courtney ensures each student is met where they are, helping them reach their academic goals. How do I enroll my child?

Enrollment is simple! Just send us an email to info@bremacademy.com. Include your child's grade and what kind of support you are looking for.

Do you offer virtual learning options?

Yes! We offer in-person and virtual sessions so your child can learn in a way that fits your family's schedule. In-person is only available in the Charleston, South Carolina area. A travel fee does apply.

How soon will I see progress in my child’s reading?

Every child is different, but many parents notice improvements in 4-6 weeks with consistent attendance and practice.

What ages do you serve?

We work with elementary-aged students (typically grades K-6) who need reading support, enrichment, or extra practice.
